The Broward Medical Examiner's Office says the skeletal remains found inside a car this week beneath a Coconut Creek canal are in fact those of William Naylor.
He disappeared almost 10 years ago...and was identified through dental records.
Foul play is NOT suspected.

William Naylor's car was fished out of a Coconut Creek Canal.
He went missing in 2005.

The Medical Examiner is expected to make the confirmation based on dental records.
Naylor suffered from Parkinson's disease.
Divers discover the remains of a man who went missing nearly 10 years ago.
It appears that William Naylor and his car were found in a canal in the 49-hundred block of Copans Road in Coconut Creek - immediately behind the apartment he used to live in.
Family members say early searches at that time in that same canal, parts of North Carolina and New York where he had relatives, all turned up nothing.
They abandoned their search about 5 years ago.
Police are trying to do a follow up investigation to determine what happened.
