Inspectors with the Florida Department of Agriculture are at the Orlando Free Fall attraction at ICON Park along International Drive where a 14 year old boy fell to this death late Thursday night. Orange County Sheriff John Mina says they'll focus on the safety of the ride to try and determine what happened. As for his agency--
"Our roll in this situation is to determine whether or not this is an accident or intentional act, "Sheriff Mina said, "and this does appear just to be a terrible tragedy."
Sheriff Mina emphasizes his investigation remains 'open' but there are no signs of foul play. The teen has been identified as Tyree Sanson who was visiting Orlando from Missouri.
"Our prayers and our thoughts are with the family. We can't imagine what they're going through."
The ride which is closed indefinately rises to 430 feet and is described as the world's tallest free-standing drop tower.
