Woman arrested for stealing over $15K worth of cosmetics from Ulta Stores

Collier County, FL - A Southwest Florida woman has been arrested in connection to a theft spree that resulted in more than $15,000 worth of stolen cosmetics and fragrances.

22-year-old Dava’Ja Ford was arrested in connection to the crime spree that targeted Ulta Beauty stores across Collier County.

According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Ford is facing multiple charges of grand theft for stealing over $15,000 worth of cosmetics and fragrances from the stores between December of 2022 and January of 2023.

Authorities say the thefts occurred on December 15th, December 22nd, January 3rd and January 10th.

Ford was arrested at the Ultra Beauty store located on U.S. 41 East after staff caught her stealing fragrances.

Staff recognized the 22-year-old from a January 10th shoplifting incident where $1,297 worth of products were stolen.

Police say Ford could face more charges as the investigation into her shoplifting spree continues.
