FLORIDA - LEGOLAND Florida is gearing up to make theme park history with the introduction of its first indoor roller coaster, a major investment aimed at transforming the guest experience.

Announced Tuesday, the new indoor coaster is scheduled to open in 2026 and represents part of a massive $90 million project shared between LEGOLAND Florida and LEGOLAND California—marking the largest single in-park investment ever made at either location.

While specific ride details remain tightly under wraps, park officials said the coaster will offer a fully immersive and interactive experience that blends LEGO’s signature creativity with a compelling, family-friendly storyline.

The attraction is being designed specifically for families with children ages 2 to 12 and is expected to set a new standard in theme park innovation.

“This isn’t just a ride, it’ll be an exploration unlike any other,” said LEGOLAND California Resort President Kurt Stocks.

“As the first roller coaster to be built in 20 years at LEGOLAND California, we’re sparing no expense to deliver the most innovative, interactive, and captivating experience possible.”

The Florida version of the ride is expected to mirror the same commitment to cutting-edge design, and parkgoers can expect additional announcements in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, LEGOLAND Florida has a new offering just around the corner: the Sea Life Florida Aquarium, which is set to open on May 23rd.

The aquarium is expected to provide an engaging and educational experience for families as they await the highly anticipated coaster.

Additional updates on the new indoor roller coaster and other resort developments will be shared via LEGOLAND’s official social media platforms.
