Does it bother you when artists change their names mid career? I mean P Diddy is notorious for this, and Jennifer Lopez became JLo, but now we have a new one to remember. The Dakiti singer Jhay Cortez is now wanting to be considered Jhayco. He is very firm about this decision changing his IG name, also promoting his tour using Jhayco and NOT Jhay Cortez. He explained in an interview that he felt he needed to rebrand himself, that he is in a different point in his career. That there are so many artists that have a similar name. But all I know is that I cant wait to see him at our iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina thats happening at the FTX arena the 15th of October. The line-up is heavy including Jhayco, Enrique Iglesias, Nicky Jam, Becky G, Myke Towers, Manuel Turizo, Farruko, and Dj Adoni.
