Mario Jaime Peralta was born in Havana, Cuba in 1988. At the age of 12, Jay Maly immigrated to the United States with his parents searching for a better future. He never left the music even though life made it hard for Maly to follow his passion. At the age of 23, Maly decided that music was the one thing he really loved to do. Maly’s most listed song on YouTube is named “Ya que no estás”. It has reached over 1 Million views.
He has done a lot of presentations and performance, but Honduras was the one that marked at different for him. Maly’s first English song was with Darian Alvarez and the song is named “I will never give up” made in 2014. He has done a few collaborations with artists like Gente de Zona, Fito Blanco and Osmani Garcia.
