Gente de Zona

Gente de Zona is a Cuban reggaeton group founded by Alexander Delgado in 2000. The group combines reggaeton rhythms with more traditional forms of Cuban music. Malcolm and Delgado first made an international impact with their 2014 hit “Bailando,” featuring Enrique Iglesias and Descemer Bueno. The track led the list of Hot Latin Songs on Billboard and was awarded 3 Latin Grammy Awards.

Randy Malcolm and Alexander Delgado continue to write their history in music under the direction and representation of Guillermo Morejón and Marc Anthony’s entertainment company, Magnus Media. Among their top hits are “La Gozadera”, “Si No Vuelves”, “Ni Tu Ni Yo” featuring Jennifer Lopez.

On June 6, 2018, Gente De Zona shared their single “Te Duele”. The success of the song helped it become one of Zumba’s official theme songs and is featured on their Spotify playlist.

Gente De Zona premiered their own HBO Latino special, En Letra de Otro. The hour-long experience was filmed in Cuba and featured Randy and Alex performing their favorite Latin classics adapted to the unique Cubatón style.
